My neighbors had one of these and I thought it was the neatest idea! It's a pewter fortune cookie that doubles as a paperweight! It even comes wrapped up like a fortune cookie with a message! (via UnCommon Goods)

Artist Herbert Hoover takes a different approach to take-out. He makes it into artwork. This life-size replica is a hand cast pewter fortune cookie complete with a paper fortune. Reminiscent of Andy Warhol's pop art sculptures, Hoover's fortune cookie is a witty take on cuisine and culture. Made in New York City. Each cookie is individually sealed in cellophane and packaged in a take out box. Choose from two fortunes, "You are irresistible" or "You are about to embark on a most delightful journey." Hand cast in New York City.
