It was big in the eighties, had a little wave again round 2003 and been creeping since then. Does the 3D TV mean a new wave or is it just cause a heap more movies are being released in 3D.

      I am on the fence about this technology. It really seems like many tv makers are pushing this...but I don't want to sit in my living room with glasses on. Besides, 3D robs the quality and brightness of HD im my opinion. I prefer a larger HD screen and a top notch sound system to match. The rumbles of a subwoofer and impact of a good soundtrack is the other dimension I prefer.
