First to recommend
Going to India from the US means a stop over in Europe or Asia, so it's best to spend a day or two there on the way - so you'll need a full global set of adapters. You can always get them at the front desk. Sometimes they work great, sometimes they don't. Usually you end up forgetting to return them. This way you show up prepared, you know they work and you can get online fast, or just charge your shaver for the morning.
