If you, like me, wonder exactly what leads to baseball brawls, this book will help you understand the game behind the game of baseball. Prime example: although no blood was shed at the Red Sox game against the Yankees last night, Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain definitely got under the skin of Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett. The two were never on the field at the same time, but certain unwritten rules were at play. This book explains many of them and, in so doing, makes watching baseball all the more intriguing.

The unwritten rules were a large part of the I loved playing baseball. I was a pitcher, and if I felt like you hit one of my teammates intentionally, I was getting one of yours. Excellent pick.
