No it's not a baby monitor, nor a phone but a Remote Thermometer. This nifty gadget allows you to travel up to 150 away from your turkey while monitoring the temperature, giving you the freedom to move along to do more cooking. (via williams-sonoma.com)

The neat meat/poultry Remote Thermometer, by Williams-Sonoma is the greatest! You insert the 7 1/2" probe into your food, choose the type of meat you are cooking and degree of doneness from pre-programmed setting and start! The receiver alerts you when you food is done! This fabulous kitchen gadget can also be used as a simple timer. Can be purchased at williams-sonoma.com for $49.95. (via williams-sonoma.com)
