Description
Several years ago, my boyfriend took me to a costume shop on the Haight in San Francisco to buy outfits for Burning Man. I lasted about 30 minutes... Which shows I'm quite patient, thank you. As soon as we walked out the door, I said to him, "You follow me. I will get you outfits to wear."
I drove us to Neiman Marcus and took him directly to the Jean Paul Gaultier department. He was blown away by how appropriate Gaultier clothing were for Burning Man, and not THAT much more than some of the costumes at the transvestite shop.
Out of the 250 friends in our Burning Man community, he was the only one sporting Gaultier at the playa.
Here is an outfit that would be appropriate for moi. I love the sheer fishnet camisole center and leggings. It's totally riske without looking cheap. Gaultier is so amazing.
