Everyone loves the beach - the sun, surf, and sand. But it's no fun dragging all that sand back with you. The Powder Pouch is designed to keep the sand on the beach, not on you. It's simply a sieve like fabric pouch filled with talcum powder. Pull it out of the included drawstring bag, and wipe it over your sandy areas. The sand will fall right off.

I wasn't aware talc did this - props to the company for taking a little known remedy and commercializing it. However, I would still recommend the Powder Pouch over a jar of talc for 1 simple reason - ease of use. The product is designed to release just enough talc to wipe off sand without leaving you full of powder. There's no mess involved. Keep it in the drawstring bag and throw it in your beach tote.

It comes in some cool patterns. Apparently, it's also big hit with mommies both for beach-going and changing diapers (babies don't really care if they're full of sand - isn't that cute?) You can also use the Powder Pouch for applying talc for any reason - sports, freshness, etc.

Cool idea, from a small family company. I think I'll be ordering one for those really sandy beach dives with no showers or facilities.
