This book isn't necessarily about being hapa, but about being of Asian descent, whether it be first generation or more. My mom doesn't talk too often about growing up in Korea, but when she does it's both intriguing and slightly uncomfortable (mainly because she discusses all the opportunities she didn't have and how she's always wanted them for me). Either way, it's interesting to know how others cope with being of Asian descent.
