Description

Vortigern’s Machine Family toys are based on characters from the psychedelic fantasy adventure comic book, Vortigern’s Machine and The Great Sage of Wisdom. In the tradition of classic adventure tales, co-writers Russell Waterman and James Jarvis tell the story of two 12-year-old friends who venture through a magic portal.

Faced with the problems of their 21st century existence, the two boys seek help and guidance from their friend and mentor, Mr Vortigern. Living in a large Victorian house with his giant orange cat, Vortigern is a man of great wisdom and owner of a magic slide machine which opens doors to alternative dimensions and mysterious worlds.

During their journey they encounter magical light projections, cross paths with a bizarre melange of fantastical characters and discover answers to some of life’s greatest unsolved questions.
James Jarvis has now brought these characters to life in 3D form, so you can meet in person the comic’s other explorers, hippies and mystical monks, not forgetting all the lead characters, a giant angry gorilla and a troll called Kevin.
