The classic and heartwarming story of Daniel Johnston, the widely known and respected, bipolar musician and artist. Not only is the story so fascinating, but it is present in a perfect way. In fact, the film won the documentary award at Sundance in 2005.

This is really interesting doc about Daniel Johnson, a manic depressive musician battling with his demons. Johnson, lives at home under the care of his elderly parents, making music and occassionally playing live shows. I'm not a fan of his music, but as an artist Johnston and his music are very inspirational. His story is a reminder that even with the odds stacked against you and obstacles at every turn, theres always a way to make your work. (via Amazon)
