I've used these both as a gymnastics coach and stage manager. They are great to have on hand. You squeeze them, something inside pops, and they get icy cold.

SO in the last 3 years I have broken a foot, torn an ACL, and dislocated my knee. Bringing this out on a bouldering trip......is very useful. Just snap and instant cold.
