How cool is this. Back in the cold war era people actually had to tote files and pictures around (instead of sending them over the internet). If your item was of an espionage variety, you could stuff it into a hollow coin - one that looked perfectly normal from the outside. Poison, microfilm and codes were all toted around in these things.
You can order hollowed out coins from this company. Use it to store your secret instructions or message, a memory card of hush-hush photos or just some wasabi when salt and pepper just won't cut it.
Great gift for the spy-wanna be or magician.

Whether you're a super spy or just have something to hide, these cool new Hollow Spy Coins ($21) will keep your secrets safe. These Quarters and Half Dollars are real coins that have been precision hand-milled to create a secret compartment inside. They are perfect for stashing away Micro SD memory cards, top-secret notes, microfilm and more, just fill them up, close and drop in your piggy bank for complete secrecy. When closed, they are indistinguishable from regular coins and easy to open with the included unlocking ring. (via Michael Kiely)

I grew up with James Bond, Napoleon Solo and Maxwell Smart. I think this is cool, but I would probably put one of thes into a vending machine. I'm more Max than James. (via Think Geek)
