Easily one of the greatest albums ever, to me. When I heard the bootleg of this CD I was hooked! (again, once the CD came out, I promptly bought about 5 albums, lol, I love Kanye!) One of my friends and I used to go to all these hole-in-the-wall clubs in DC to see and hear him perform! I mean we went EVERYWHERE Kanye was to show up and back then when he was new, hungry and a leetle bit humble(LOL) he performed at these small venues for his adoring fans who knew every word from his College Dropout album and the words to the songs that didn't make it on the released album, ah those were the days! I remember when i met him, we bonded over a pair of jeans we both had on, gotta love it!

Kanye West is so high on himself he would definitely want to listen to his own CD over and over again. And it is a REALLY good CD. Both of Kanye's CD'as are great but this one is probably my favorite.

For me, none of his others compare to the first. College Dropout wasn't just the springboard, it was the reaosn we discovered the guy and has some of hsi best songs to date.

This is my favorite Kanye album so far. I guess with your first album you give 200% since it determines whether you make it or break it. This was a tight album.
