When I FIRST saw this I asked myself, "what the heck is this thing?" What it is the perhaps the best way to make coffee the old, old, old,old fashioned way. Grind your coffee, meaure, put it is the carafe, add boiling water, insert filter, wait a few minutes..... voila coffee the way the ancient originators of coffee enjoyed it. Here's a tip... pair this with a thermal carafe (I recommend a Stelton™ or Eva Solo™ carafe) and you have an unbeatable system. Beautiful and functional like all Eva Solo products. Looks can be deceiving especially in this case. Looks like a Carafe Style coffee maker in a sweater right? Yeah that's right but it also uses a method of brewing coffee that's a couple thousand years old... arguably the first method of brewing. Add course ground coffee (nothing special there - use the same grind you'd use in a french press), add boiling water, pop on the stainless steel filter/cap, wait 7 minutes and voila... some of the finest damned coffee ever! Form meets function! I love the little zip-up thermal wet suit to keep your carafe of coffee piping hot. (via nielsgossens)

Its great when a design just leaves you speachless. I look at this beautiful coffee flask and am astounded. The shape is so sleek the combination of glass, metal and neoprene is brilliant. Its a wonderful and surprisingly masculine object.
If JCrew or Banana made coffee products, this would be it.
