I know how most animators feel about “acting”, so this is the most accessible, least bullshitty book I know on the subject. For more, I’d look into Mamet’s and Hagen’s books. (via Barnes & Noble)

I highly suggest any actor who is serious about learning or debunking the crap they have been taught to buy this book. seriously, it was like the bulb that fell out of the ceiling and hit me over the head..did not break, but made me ponder, discover, re-think--thinking as an actor, and moved me...which made me move.....I swear, cause I fucking hate to read, it makes me sleeply. I read this in a day, and was angry it was over.
