I have kind of a chemistry laboratory decor thing going on in my kitchen, so this clear glass water kettle by Bodum would fit in perfectly. I also love the splash of color on the lid and spout.

Water kettles are hardly ever items that I would refer to as pretty, but I love this piece by Bodum. Obviously, the glass is tempered for extra strength and durability, but there's still an elegance to it that you just couldn't get with many other materials.
