because its iconic , different and smart .. their i s a hole in the middle and hours are numerical , minutes are graphics and its cheaap

The cool thing about this watch is the look, thankfully it has a digital number so you can actually read it! I use my mechanical watch for decoration, mainly, since it doesn't have this feature.

Too many watches are over-designed and it becomes impossible to tell the time on them. This is an example where the design is actually complimentary to the function of the watch, and allows you to easily see the minute marker. 'A quarter past three' is more visually apparent here than would be on an analog watch.
