Without a doubt, this film was the herald of a return to great horror. For years, Hollywood had languished in a bath of insipid, barely interesting regurgitations, but this film effectively washed all that away. Clever, well-planned, scary and emotional, it's everything a horror fillm should be. Including, of course, legions of the reanimated dead.

This is the scariest, best horror movie I've seen since I was too young to distinguish fiction from reality. I think that's the secret of the movie: it's plausible on many levels.

Normally zombies are slow and not very nimble, but what if they went super fast. This movie is exactly that scenario. Zombies on 'roids. Beware!

Director Danny Boyle is one of my favourite filmmakers working today. 28 Days Later completely reinvented the zombie film genre AND managed to transcend the gory horror movie genre by adding a modern reality that worked just as successfully to cause chills in its viewers as the rapid, rabid red-eyed "zombies" did. Starring Cillian Murphy and featuring a awe-inspiring and gut-wrenching opening sequence of an abandoned central London, 28 Days Later is a modern, edgy, exhilerating film that you won't soon forget!

I dont normally like scary movies but I am in love with 28 weeks later. They hired professional runners to play the part of the zombies which makes it very hard for the non infected people to survive

I was having trouble finding a recent zombie flick that was actually creepy and had the zombie killing action I was craving...then I saw 28 Days Later. It also displays a suprising element that I never thought would happen during a zombie apocalypse.

GREAT movie. You don't have to be a zombie movie fan (I'm not) to appreciate this genius work of art. You just have to enjoy suspense, action, a little sci-fi and horror. And well-made movies.

While there's some debate among zombie purist if those in the movie are actually "zombies" or just infected with some disease, this movie is a great look into the possibility and terror of abnormally fast zombies. Also shows you how the military shouldn't be your end all be all for salvation. Great movie, great soundtrack.
