Blockus is a board game that combines logic, strategy, spatial perception and a healthy dose of laughter. It's one of those rare games that is challenging and fun for everybody in our family from our 3 year old daughter and 8 year old son to the aunts and uncles. Though the rules are simple to learn, no matter how good you are, it seems that you can always think of new strategies to try. The thinking that goes into this is unlike other spatial games which brings an extra element of excitement into the playing. This is one of those games we carry with us and introduce to others. In fact, we need to purchase another copy as the last family we shared it with loved it so much we left the game with them. There is also a travel sized Blokus for packing on long trips. (Warning: Don't lose any pieces!)

I love this game! We have both the four person and two person versions of Blokus. In my house, I can't get a 4 person game going as I play "Blokus for blood" (play hard, not to draw blood) and this seems to scare or offend my wife.

this game is absolutely awesome!!! A great blend of strategy and lucky breaks. It's great because it is abstract enough to really challenge you and no two games are ever going to be exactly the same. I love it!!!! and the Blokus Trigon (triangle shaped pieces instead of squares) is also a blast.

  i love, love, love this game... the original with square pieces and blokus trigon with triangle pieces... it will really work your mind to switch between the two shapes.

A huge favorite at our house this year. It is great for all ages and an excellent game to play with your kids. Equally challenging no matter what age you are.
