Fibblestax by Devin Scillian
A sweeter story would be hard to find, and the artwork is amazing. I am an art education major, and the crosshatching in this book would be a great place to start a lesson on different drawing techniques. The book talks about a boy who was cruelly named Fibblestax, but keeps his name in order to remember the power words can hold. He uses his experience to motivate him to be conscious of the words he uses, which is a huge lesson for both kids and grown-ups.
