One of the things I hate about traveling is how hard it is on my hair. You get on a plane with a perfectly neat style and step off it (after many hours and a connection or two) looking like Buckwheat’s mother. I used to wear a hat or twist my hair into inexpert braids to keep it from this fate, but I wanted to be able to travel with my hair loose and curly and still look good at my destination. For that I would need some heavy-duty product.
ISO curls step up to the plate. This creamy pomade works on both wet and dry hair to help define curl and keep hair soft & shiny. ISO lives up to all of its promises under normal conditions, but can it pass the ultimate test: plane hair?
I decided to test it out on a recent trip involving multiple connections and some of the most uncomfortable planes ever made. I arrived tired, but my hair still looked great. Still soft, still shaped well, and no bird’s nest halo. This stuff is great. (via SheFindsKimB)
