One of my favorite jewelry making magazines is "Step by Step Wire Jewelry". In the September volume, I fell in love with this necklace called the Scroll gate chain. I had to give it a try. I made this necklace from hammered 22 gauge silver wire, wrapped with 32 gauge wire and a lovely 23 ct. Ice blue topaz as the focal. When the sunlight hits this topaz you will understand immediately why I named it "Blue Ice".

Necklace is just shy of 20" in length and the focal is
1 1/2" in length.
