  A wonderfully written book outlining the rebirth of discriminatory practices (Felony Convictions) that continue to marginalize people of color. In spite the election of the first President of color, America still embraces racial practices that unfairly target people of color. The rapid growth of incarceration rates for young black and brown men proves this, because possessing a felony conviction means facing perpetual employment and housing discrimination, denial of the right to vote, denial of educational opportunity, and other public benefits for the rest of one's life..
