If you want delicious, perfectly-textured ice cream, this is the ice cream maker to get. Don't bother with the ones that have an insert you put in the freezer - they don't get the ice cream cold enough; you'll end up with slush today and a giant ice cube tomorrow.
This is like the old-fashioned ice cream makers where you add ice and salt, only the churn is electric so you won't break your arm making dessert.
