I am completely in love with the eggling! I want to grow an entire garden in my kitchen!
What's even better: "Cultivation is easy - all the plants grow for up to five months in the Eggling's fortified peat mixture, after which the Eggling can be planted directly in soil."

When I'm having it rough dealing with the dark winter afternoons, I like to look towards my windowsill and see this egg growing fresh basil. The cuteness factor of the egg is enough to cheer my stormy feelings and the basil inspires me to cook something fresh. When the egg is biodegradable and basil seedlings are tucked inside the egg along with dirt.
