Sommeliers have to open multiple bottles - each time with precision, efficiency and a little bit of style. There's a reason they choose waiter's corkscrews as their weapons of choice. This particular version is extremely well designed. The screw-pull is hardened steel with a teflon coating for smooth, easy, and clean cork puncture and extraction. The stainless steel handle that's used for leverage does double duty as a bottle-cap opener. Best of all, the end hides an extremely easy to use foil cutter - just push it against the bottle neck, wrap it around, and the foil pops off. Much safer than the standard pop out knife, particularly after a few glasses. $8-$30, Depending on where you buy it from. 5 Year warranty, made in Italy. Jooxi tested and approved. UPDATE: I may have made a slight mistake. I bought mine from William Sonoma, which recently stopped selling it. You can still buy it here: http://www.worldmarket.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3596781 The amazon link looks exactly like what I have, and I suspect is indeed the same thing, but I can't guarantee it.
