These pins are part of series of blood/medical themed jewerly and paintings. I really like the texture of bandages and most little kids I know enjoy the ritual of having their parents bandage up their 'owies'.
A lot of work went into these pins. I molded, cooked and painted the sculpey bandages. This bandage is about 3/4 of an inch wide and less than 3 inches in length. The sides are painted red and the top part detailed with acrylic paint and varnished. Vintage red rhinestones sparkle on the splatter and a heart shaped rhinestone charm dangles from the pin.
You can easily attach this pin to your clothing or bag with the pin that is on the back.
