An eggling is actually a totally ingenious, self-contained little herb garden. Crack open this ceramic little wonder, add water, and Voila!âfresh herbs!

How cute and how convenient? It's the perfect way to grow herbs or add a little nature to your room without getting all involved with watering and pruning and caring for plants... It also takes up relatively little space, which is a bonus in small apartments.

These rock! shame they only 4 different herbs though..
Also, they're a little pricey for what they are, but still, I think they're a nice addition to brighten up a kitchen.

Eggs are the perfect serene, elegant shape, and I like plants. This is an egg-shaped plant holder, which works out nicely - plus, it's a boutiquey gift for a nice low price. ($8.95 at Elsewares)

Looks like an egg. Feels like an egg. Must be an egg, right? Wrong! An eggling is actually a totally ingenious, self-contained little herb garden. Crack open this ceramic little wonder, add water, and Voila!—fresh herbs!

I like this. It is real cute. Even with my green thumb I could do this.
