Fun, decorative, customisable and eventually edible (at least the herbs). Will make a great gift for someone who 'has it all'. It wouldn't even matter if 10 other people had had the same idea - I could quite imagine having a whole collection of these little buggers.

Absolutely adorable! These plants grow for up to five months in the eggling, after which it can be planted directly in soil.

This is a fun idea. Crack the top off the egg and it works as a self contained potted plant. The flat bottom prevents it from teetering over.
