ZimKids is all that stands between 160 orphans and starvation. Food baskets from Botswana are delivered to the orphans and their caretaker families each month. The donations are generated primarily through the USA sales of hand made dolls created by the children. With more donations, more children can be brought into the program.
While the emphasis is on the living, there was also the sad story of a child who died of AIDS-- the sale of his dolls paid for his funeral.
This is a fantastic organization - I've been aware of it for several years.
Now they are listed on globalgiving.com and need to raise $4000 from 50 donors. Won't you donate $10 or more today? You could change a life.
