Whether you love to cook (which I do), or hate to cook (which it seems most people do), check out penzeys.com. Their spices, herbs, soup bases and spice blends not only puts those nasty grocery store brands to shame, but also gives you super easy, incredibly delicious recipes, and really cool information about how origin affects flavor or intensity. Research shows that healthy people can enjoy up to 2,400 milligrams (mg) of salt each day from all food and drink sources. Sounds like a lot, doesn’t it? How surprised would you be to learn that 2,400 mg translates to about one teaspoon of salt? Check out the sodium content on the labels of foods and beverages you buy. It’s shocking.

Penzeys has one of the best selections of spices, herbs and seasonings around. Many cities now have a Penzeys shop , but if you don't live in or near one of them, don't worry - they also have great mail order business online. Featuring a wide variety of spices, seasonings and blends from the simple, practical and domestic to the rare, exotic and international, Penzey's has what you are looking for. (via Penzeys Spices)

Penzey's has such a nice variety of spices. I wish they had organics, but if that's not terribly important to you, I suggest paying them a visit. Try the shallot salt!

For spices, you can’t beat the quantity, quality, or price.

I tend to avoid blends and instead make my own BUT their 5 Spice and Cajun blends are quite nice!
