Primavera is Spanish for spring and a good name for this serene and lovely lady. Made by artisans in Lake Chapala, Mexico, using native clay, each sculpture is hand-shaped, kiln-fired, and handfinished. The details are minimal: a hint of facial features, a flowing gown—and a little bird safe in her cupped hands.
