Inhabit Wall Flats

Description

I like the close-ups of all these textured wallpapers. Though I'm a little worried they'd be overwhelming covering an entire wall. My advice: Use it sparingly. (via Mrs Gryphon)

Think braile on steroids when you look at these wall flats. A great alternative to boring two-dimensional wallpaper or paint. Easy to install (and remove if you get tired of them) and great for adding a little variety to otherwise dull wall space.

Description

Inhabit's Embossed Wall Flats are designed to expand in any direction. With peel-and-stick adhesive tabs and an automatic pattern repeat these wall tiles are simple, modern, versatile and goof-proof. You can cover an existing wall, help disguise a not-so-smooth wall or add a modern pattern to any room setting.

Customize them by rotating every other tile or row, mix-and-match patterns or paint them to coordinate with your decor. The rule is there are no rules and the important thing is to have fun with it. It¹s low stress, low commitment and a big payoff in the way these tiles will impact a space.

It is so unusual and a great way to cover up UGLY walls without the usual wall paper or paint.
I want to get it for our half bath that has wallpaper from 1961 (love that old school wallpaper). Great way to finish walls. (via joe and loft3)

Description

Inhabits Wall Flats are great for so many reasons. They can be painted, they can be left white for a subtle dramatic touch. They add texture to ordinary walls. They hide imperfections on ugly walls. They can be used to cover an entire wall or a few can be used in a row to create a kind of textured wall art.
