Hoodies are the sport coat of the street. Spending more than a thousand dollars on a Bape hoodie may seem absurd, but is it any more absurd than dropping thousands on a Brioni sport coat?
CYC has had a very successful design history, making sweatshirts for some of the biggest names in streetwear, including Alife and Supreme. This season, CYC's design team decided to take a step back and produce a more back-to-basics line called Reigning Champ. Influenced by the aesthetics of both boxing and baseball, the Reigning Champ pinstripe zip-up hoodie is simple and elegant, featuring clean lines and designed with functionality foremost in mind. It's a loose-fitting and sturdy garment (90% cotton, 10% polyester) with an oversized hood and a nice, large YKK zipper. Sometimes when you're out downtown you don't want to be sporting your ostentatious gold-foil-embossed Billionaire Boys Club but you still want to look good and stay warm. A Reigning Champ hoodie is a perfect go-to hoodie for these situations. Available in black, gray, red, and green.
