How do I love Michael Scott? Let me count the ways. I love his devotion to candy, his enthusiasm for holidays, his desire to be #1 Top Dog in every situation, his unswerving faith in his own sense of humor, his overwhelming need to be loved. Throw in the sweetness of Jim-n-Pam, the unbelievable fabulousness that is DwighT SchruTe, Toby's perpetually furrowed brow, Kelly's nonstop mouth, and the opportunity to watch every single one of Ryan's hopes and dreams go straight down the toilet, and you have a DVD-worthy series that's actually worth repeated viewing.

I started watching the BBC version of The Office. It took me a while, but I finally really got into it. I was worried the American version of The Office might be as bad as the American version of Couplings, but it turned out to be even better than the BBC version. Be sure you're buying the version you are looking for.

It's simply a perfect TV show. The casting is genius, the acting - hilarious, sad, amazing, and every story hooks you in from the first 30 seconds. This is one rip-off that American TV re-created superbly well. LOVE.

The Office. Amazing. I guess which ever version you see is the version you end up being loyal to. I hate the US version, but that's because no one, I repeat NO ONE, can fill Ricky Gervais' role. He is a genius.

A must-have! Not only because Season Two beats Season One's behind, but because all of these characters are MADE of awesome. Really. You will not find another show where you love every.single.character in it. They're so funny and insane! Loving The Office is not just about loving any kind of tvshow, soon you'll find yourself quoting it all the freaking time! It's a way of living, really. TRY IT, you will not regret it. As long as I'm writing, let me say a couple of things: 1. DWANGELA!! (You'll see what I mean when you watch) 2. Jim is perfect (You'll see all the perfection when you watch) 3. JAM. OH, JAM! (what? you'll see that it means when you watch) 4. That's what she said (what did she say? You'll see what I mean when you watch!) And that's FOUR insane things. WHEN YOU WATCH, you'll find a million more. GO WATCH.

This is one of the best shows ever! It is flawless! Ricky Gervais is so wrong, hilarious and amazing! He is one of my fav. actors/comedians on the planet! I am so tired of American tv nicking British shows. Can't they come up with some original shows. I hear the American version of the Office is good, but I refuse to watch on principle. Note to American tv producers, come up with an original concept and stop nicking British ones. I'm sorry if Britain keeps producing original entertaining shows and Hollywood has gone so stale (Heroes is the major exception) that you are forced to rehash good British shows and never do it as well (does anyone remember the American version of Coupling....of course not). Anyway I digress. If you love anything sarcastic, witty and offbeat, you cannot afford to not see this. If you are a fan of the American version, give this one a watch and I know you will not be disappointed. See why they nicked the show in the first place! This set includes both seasons and the Xmas special! You really can't afford not to own this one. Gareth rules!

The funniest television show there is...man I wish I worked there If you've already watched season 1, you've got to pick up season 2 which features around 4 times more episodes. If only we all knew a Dwight.

Watch the original the started it all. This BBC version takes the character of the pompous office manager, played by Ricky Gervais, to uncomfortably hilarious levels.

I really do love The Office, and season two was pretty darn hilarious, if I do say so myself. With the introduction of the "that's what she said" joke, it might possibly be one of the most subtly influential shows of our time. Who would've guessed? Anyway, I need to own this... and I would prefer if I owned it in the form of a gift for my birthday... nudge, nudge.

The Office (UK) series was twelve episodes and one Christmas special. In that very short amount of time, it completely astounded me with how hilarious and/or painfully awkward it could be one moment, and how much of a beautiful love story it was the next. The American remake is nothing compared to this. Highly, highly recommended.
