It took a bit of convincing to get me in a pair of these...as they are not quite my fashion taste......But what can I say now.....believe the hype!! These sandals are extremely comfortable for demanding conditions like day hikes & long walks where a typical sandal will not do.

Totally out of season here, but I'm recommending Keen shoes in general, and particularly their Venice H2 model.
The Venice has a more open, airy design and feel than the Newport's, but still provide toe coverage and protection. They're a cinch to put on and off - they have an elastic closure - and have a super comfy, supportive footbed. The H2 version is great - made with neoprene, you can take these for a splash in the ocean, and they'll be dry a few minutes later.
A great shoe to explore the word in!
