This somewhat odd looking contraption is the new generation of Tripods. It allows a photographer to litterally attach his camera to almost anything. So, if you're searching for a Valentines Day gift for someone who loves taking pictures, you just found it.

I use this constantly! You can take nice long exposure settings at night with it, or use it to put yourself in a group shot or landscape. It never leaves my purse! I am actually on my second one because I wore the first one out - HIGLY recommended.
