I was in the market for a digital camera with a high quality lens. Interestingly, i read many reviews that said above ISO 400, the majority of cameras image noise increased dramatically. Since this appears to be the norm, i did not consider it an evaluation factor. Similarly, most new digital cameras appear to have dropped the viewfinder to provide more real estate for the lcd. This grip by many reviews also seems invalid or extraneous.
So, i focused on image quality, lcd size, input/output options, and time-to-picture performance. The Panasonic DMC-TZ3K is great on all fronts. I have owned for a week now and the picture quality and speed are what I needed. I am very satisfied.
