I never wore foundation because it always made my skin look cake-ish. I figured that it was better to show my blemishes than look ridiculously fake. But this totally changed my mentality. My sister discovered a few years ago and always pushed me to try it -and now I that I have I'm a total believer. It's so light and doesn't look or feel like makeup at all. It just looks like you have flawless skin! The $60 kit at Ulta or Sephora stores comes with an instructional DVD for make-up novices.

This was the first time I tried minerals makeup, and I love the ease of use! I went to a Sephora shop to try on the colour to match, that part is a little tricky to do on your own what is the right colour for you. While I was looking at the product, a stranger walked by and started ravign to me how good the product was for her sensitive skin... I was SOLD! I also liked the fact that they had everything inside, and price was attractive. The ONLY THING I don't like about ID is their brushes don't last a long time. I bought another one from another bran.d

I ADORE Bare Minerals. This makeup is so light and leaves you looking fresh and not "plastic" or overly made up. My boyfriend loves that I look so natural and I love that he can't see my flaws because this stuff covers them up like magic without looking too thick or gloppy.

I've been a BE user for almost 10 years. Every so often I will stray and try a different mineral foundation. I always end up back using BE. It is the only one that looks natural on me and does not feel heavy. Many other ones that are matte look fake and I don't get the same glow. BE is also the easiest to apply and by far the easiest to find a skin tone match.

I've been using the starter kit for about a week. I love having something on mu skin that's good for it. I pass out on the couch asleep so much that I had to stop wearing makeup that wasn't all natural. But the good thing about that is that I finally had an excuse to try Bare Escentuals. My only gripe is that the foundation is so sheer that finding one that works for you is pretty tricky. I'm still looking. That being said, the Mineral Veil and Warmth that go with the kit are invaluable and work with pretty much any complexion. So even if the foundation is tricky to find a good match, you still get two products that will work for you. And the brushes are fabulous! I've used a kabuki for years, and this one gives just enough coveravge to even out my skin and look natural.

I've been using this for more than a year. I will never use anything else. I've tried everything and this is the closest to natural. I have people telling me that I "look like I"m glowing," all the time. I've even made people think that I have naturally clear skin. I can't speak for everyone about Bare Minerals, but I can tell you that I've always hated foundation until using this.

I've been using Bare Minerals for about two years and I love it. I have combination skin, mostly dry with an oily T-zone and the occasional pimple. Liquid makeup was always too heavy, and powder foundation was too dry. This product is the perfect balance. It looks like you're not wearing make up (which is really the goal once we grow up, isn't it, ladies?), but it's actually covering up any unevenness in tone. I also love their shimmery mineral veil. I followed the advice of the girl who helped me last time I was in the store, and mixed some of the shimmer in with my regular color and the effect is a subtle luminous look. I just purchased the Blemish Therapy and am looking forward to seeing how it does...

I purchased the kit after hearing about it on a fashion forum, literally was that excited that I went out the next day bright and early. The sales person was very helpful in helping me choose the shade that suited my skin and I was SO amazed by the product, it worked perfectly for me even without the mineral cream, I just moisturize and apply. It's over two years now and I still use it on a daily basis, can be washed off easily with a gentle cleaner and it offers great coverage!
