My birdies wouldn't know what to do with themselves if they saw this on my balcony, but I am sure they would love it! (via aplusstore.com)

One of Fortune Magazine's best new products of 2004 (hey, I wasn't on ThisNext back then!), this egg birdfeeder is great for any patio. Available in aqua blue, red, or yellow, add a bit of kitschy nature fun to your home. If you hang it, they will come.

Serious Easter alert! I love the colors and clean lines. Perfect for city dwellers who frequent apartmenttherapy.com and despise the plastic selection at a hardware store!

What came first? In this case, it's the egg. But the birds are sure to flock soon after. Elegant in their simplicity, these egg-shaped bird feeders are made of a fired ceramic so they won't to fade and a spun-aluminum base assembly perfectly suited for the extremes of weather. They're easy to fill with a good supply of seed, and can be hung in any convenient outdoor space with the integrated steel wire. The tough part is deciding what color you'll want from the variety of decorative hues available--including pure white for all you "eggy" purists out there. That J. Schatz thinks of everyone. Wild birds love them. We love them. And our customers at our Silver Lake shop keep swooping in for more. When the bird feeders first arrived, we were thrilled by the size and quality, not to mention the deliciously glossy colors. No wonder it made Fortune Magazine's 25 Best Products of 2004.

Handcrafted of glossy, lightweight ceramic, the modern feeder's minimalist shape and small base are just right for birds, but won't support pesky squirrels.

I like the symbolism of the egg in this birdfeeder. I think most may miss this, which I find very enchanting, especially the fact it was successfully designed to be modern, and not grandma'esque.
