You know how you know this movie was great? If you saw it in the theaters, you witnessed children of the 80's who are now grown men, stand up in the middle of the movie pump his fist and say,"Now that's what the fuck I'm talking about!" This phenomenon would happen at various points in this film. I must admit that I am guilty of shouting, "Hell yeah!" when Optimus Prime first spoke (the same guy who did the cartoon voice is in the movie!!!!!).

I attribute the resurfacing of this childhood passion to Michael Bay ability to perfectly capture the nostalgia of the transformers from our childhood and make it into something palpable for our now sophisticated adult pallets. Nicely done.

Oh and how stupid is Volkswagen for not allowing their car to be used as bumble bee in the movie? Whoever made that decision HAD to get fired.

I was somewhat Iffy...when I heard about this movie. Then I saw it. In theaters. I still to this day think that this is one of my all time favorite movies ever! I remembered exactly, the sound of optimus prime and the other autobots transform from this to that. The second I heard that EXACT same noise in the movie, lol.............this is sooo unlike me.......I stood up and screamed "YES!" lol. Michael Bay did an amazing job in bring a childhood memory back to life. I actually felt like an excited child sitting in the movie theater. This is more than just a good movie, this is an escape from the dreary ins and outs of having toGrow Up.

Transformers was awesome! Never really watched it as a cartoon when I was young, but the movie was hot! I don't care what anyone says, as an action movie it couldn't have been better. The middle to end was unbelievable, especially if you have a huge TV and a surround system hooked up.
