Harry Potter fans, rejoice! Here's a new J. K. Rowling release - a collector's edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard. No, Hogwarts is not involved, but I hear these books are equally terrific - and a lot prettier.

This is the book that is referred to in the final Harry Potter book. It's a cool collector's addition.

I can't decide if I should save my pennies or put it at the top of my Christmas list... or just wait and see if my puts it on his Christmas list (he's bound to, honestly), but it would be cool to get ourselves on of these, and the cash all goes to charity for kids, so that's ultimately very cool...

This is the book Dumbledore passed to Hermione in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows...it's a book of magical fairy tales...definitely a must-read for all Harry Potter fans..yeah it's $100..but all the money are going to charity...so why not?

Apparently J.K. Rowling had gifted a few of the originals (with silver ornaments and a moonstone) and Amazon.com was in posession of one of them. It looks gorgeous and drool-worthy. If you're a huge Harry Potter fan like I am (and I mean HUGE... like I went to midnight releases and dressed up in costume. And you better believe it wasn't any store-bought costume, it was handmade and marvelous.) you need this. Sure, it's $100 but it looks like it is waaay beyond worth it. But if you're feeling stingy, you can get the standard edition for less than a tenth of the price. It's up to you... but I can guarantee that this one will look a lot cooler on your bookshelf...
