Throughout the presidential primaries and into the campaigns I've wanted/needed to find a way to support Barack Obama, unfortunately I haven't much time to volunteer at the campaign offices and I don't have a lot of money to contribute.

Following Barack Obama's speech during the Democratic National Convention I was re-inspired to do something to show my support.

I immediately acquired the domain www.ilikebarry.com and begin sketching a t-shirt design that I had in my head. My goal was to create a campaign t-shirt that I'd want to wear to show my support. There are a lot of nice Obama posters, however; many of the t-shirts aren't quite right.

The amount of good design that has come out of Obama's bid for election is pretty impressive, as is the feeling that artistic folks in a variety of graphic mediums are getting behind a cause they believe in with little or no thought to casing in on anything other than progressive political change. This Yes We Can! - Revolution T-shirt is a fine example and is channeling 100% of its profits to the Obama campaign.
