By Jim CollinsA great read for anyone wanting to take their business from “good to great.” I’ve applied many of his principles in my organization with amazing results.

This is one of my favorite business books because the key principles are based on exhaustive research and culled from the most successful companies in American history. The research team analyzed the traits of failing and successful companies to determine what systems, controls, and leadership characteristics were present in each. The findings aren't earth shattering (things like focus, attention to detail, and nurturing top employees) but the collective impact feels actionable. I believe wholeheartedly in the teachings of this book.

I love this book too. Also reading Guy Kawasaki's new one called Reality Check. Great, and focused on entrepeneurs. Hopefully, knowing how to spell entrepeneur isn't a requirement for being a good one. :D

Good quick read with a lot of actionable takeaways that you can apply to every business. The book is structured with chapter summaries at the end of each chapter which for me is a great way to recap, it’s like highlighting for dummies.
