The PetSafe Pawz Away "Rock" (PWF00-11923) is the latest item in pet containment from PetSafe. Actually resembling a rock, this battery-powered, waterproof outdoor containment transmitter is designed for use in areas that are inconvenient to add to an existing outdoor containment boundary loop or is used in gardens or other smaller areas that don't merit a full-blown containment system. The Rock and it's collar are waterproof and the base transmitter uses 4-"D" batteries to power up a 16 foot wireless area or a 150 foot wired containment area. It is cross-compatible with collars used in the Innotek systems as well as the Innotek Zones platform and can be used to supplement either of these existing applications. How It Works The Barrier Transmitter, disguised as a rock in your landscape, sends a circular radio signal to your pet's Receiver Collar. When your pet enters the Barrier Area, he'll hear audible tones from the Receiver Collar followed by a safe, progressive Static Correction. The correction is delivered through the Contact Points of the collar that touch his neck. He'll quickly associate the correction with the area you've declared off-limits.
