THE TIME IS NOW.
With Reveal, time is always in the present. This timekeeper reveals the current time through a looking glass while fading the past and the future. If you are a person of the present, this watch is made specifically for you.
MoMA says, "Truly unique in its display of time, the minutes and hours fade in and out as time passes. Part of the Projects series, where architects and designers are commissioned to craft timepieces, Reveal is the work of computer graphics pioneer Daniel Will-Harris. The only analog watch to read in a digital manner, it features a soft leather strap and a stainless steel case. A pamphlet inside gives a biography of the designer and his inspiration behind the piece." (via Projects)

"The Reveal Watch is an interesting watch design in which the current hour and minute are revealed and the rest of the watch face is faded away to nothing."

The next best thing to having a digital watch. No more squinting to figure out exactly where the clock hand is.

A very cool artistic concept that just plain looks cool. It is watch with an unusual way of telling the time but it still highly readable.
The Reveal watch has three concentric rings. Underneath them lie modern-font arabic numerals. Each ring has a transparent portion that fades into the rest of the circle. These transparent parts move in their 12hour cycle, slowly revealing the time printed beneath them.
It works the same for the minutes, but the minutes are only printed in 15 minute increments.
The second hand is the smallest circle in the middle with a little white dot. It goes around once every minute.
A very cool watch that is fun to wear and a great gift for those who appreciate modern design based watches.
