Jellie shoes were HUGE in the 80's. This great shoe is a descendant of those shoes, but with a purebreed pedigree: Melissa shoes of Brazil is the company that originally created the plastic shoe- and they've been doing it ever since. Lately they've been pairing up with great designers like Zaha Hadid, Karim Rashid & the brothers Campana. One of the best thing about Melissa shoes is the care they take to use recycled plastics and create practically zero waste during their production process. Moreover, the shoes can be recycled again when they wear out.
