My introduction to Terry Pratchett's world was through Mort too. The title was too much to ignore and the synopsis was too irresistible to put the book back on the shelf. I'm glad I read this amazingly funny book and was introduced to the inhabitants of Pratchett's crazy world.

This was the first Terry Prachet book I ever read, and it was laugh out loud funny, not one of those books where you laugh inside and smile a bit, or have a quite supressed chuckle, no this is one of those books that had me in tears, laughing my head off in public while people cleared a space around me.... great to read in trains and buses when you need a bit of space!
