The fruit itself is not sweet but when eaten a chemical in the fruit makes all sour things taste sweet. lemons, hot sauce, tequila. They haev tasting parties where you try differnt foods paired with the fruit or you can order them (they are expensive) from the miracle fruit man!

A chew or two and the unique protein of this berry turns even the most sour foods sweet. They're not cheap at $3 each with a minimum order of thirty from this retailer, but consider that they have the power to fool your taste buds into thinking sweet when they actually taste sour, spicy, bitter or well- anything but sweet. Not only do they trick your tongue, but they do it for over an HOUR. I have to try it!
