I picked up one of these at Circuit City to use with Skype. It's a little weird not to be able to lie back on the couch while talking on skype (since it's a behind-the-head model) but it generally works well. No problems with Ubuntu linux, once I followed the instructions in the Skype Forum. (via Skype Forum)
